TPG Public Equities (TPEP)

Established in 2013, TPG Public Equity Partners (TPEP) seeks to generate superior risk-adjusted returns through deep, fundamental private equity-style research in the public markets. TPEP currently manages a long/short fund (approximately $2.6 billion) and a long-only fund (approximately $1.8 billion), both of which are managed with broad, opportunistic mandates that allow TPEP to invest globally across different sectors and market capitalizations.

TPG Strategic Capital Fund (TSCF)

We launched TPG Strategic Capital Fund (TSCF) in 2020 in response to an opportunity we saw to combine the expertise of our private equity business with the firm’s public equity investing capabilities to build long-term equity value in public companies. TSCF makes concentrated investments in public companies where we can work constructively with management and boards to drive meaningful strategic and operational transitions.

Established in 2011, TPG NewQuest is one of Asia’s leading secondary private equity managers, which specializes in providing strategic liquidity solutions to private equity asset owners and has a focused strategy of acquiring secondary private equity positions in companies across the Asia Pacific region. TPG NewQuest is principally focused on bespoke general partner-led secondary transactions, distinguishing it from the majority of secondary firms in the market today by delivering attractive hybrid returns, targeting secondary-type DPIs and primary-style multiples.
