• We recognize the importance of protecting children’s online privacy. The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data online from children under the age of 13.
• This Website Privacy Policy and all other TPG privacy notices do not apply to TPG’s Portfolio Companies and other investment vehicles, such as property companies and joint ventures (together “Investments”). The privacy practices of these Investments, including details on the personal data they may collect about you when you interact with them, are subject to their own privacy policies or notices, which we strongly suggest you review.

Personal Data We Collect

You may choose to provide us with your personal data when you visit the Site, such as name, contact information, login data, date of birth, spouse’s name, and other information that you provide when you send us your name and contact information in connection with an inquiry.

We may share your personal data with TPG, Inc. and its affiliates for the purposes described in this Policy.

We also may share personal data with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment service providers, analytics providers, business communications archiving providers, and hosting providers.  In accordance with applicable law, we enter into legally binding agreements with our service providers requiring them to use or disclose personal data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with applicable legal requirements.

In addition, we may disclose personal data about you (a) if we are required or permitted to do so by law or legal process, for example due to a court order or a request from a law enforcement agency, (b) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, (c) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or other illegal activity, or (d) in connection with (i) the making, management, or disposition of any of our investments, (ii) the sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution or liquidation), or (iii) business continuity.

How We Protect the Personal Data We Collect

We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal data against loss or accidental, unlawful or unauthorized, alteration, access, disclosure or use.

How Long We Keep the Personal Data We Collect

Your personal data is retained for the period reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in this Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law, taking into account relevant statutes of limitations and TPG’s records retention requirements.

Information for EU, UK, DIFC, ADGM, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Korea, India, Japan, and People's Republic of China Residents

TPG Europe LLP is the data controller of personal data about individuals located in the UK and EU collected through the Site.

TPG Capital – U.A.E., LLC is the data controller of personal data about individuals located in the DIFC collected through the Site.

TPG (A) Limited is the data controller of personal data about individuals located in the ADGM collected through the Site.

Our Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data

If you are located in the UK, EU, DIFC, or ADGM, we generally process your personal data for the purposes described above because we have a legitimate interests in operating, managing, and improving the Site, our processing of personal data is necessary for those purposes, and our interests in doing so are not overridden by the fundamental rights and freedoms of users of the Site.

When we process personal data to (i) protect against, identify, and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims, and other liabilities; and (ii) comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, and policies, we do so because it is necessary for compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject.

We use your personal data to send direct marketing only where you have provided your consent or otherwise when we are permitted by applicable law to do so.

Data Transfers

We may transfer personal data that we collect about you to recipients in countries other than the country in which the personal data was originally collected, which may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the personal data. If you are located in the UK, EU, DIFC, or ADGM, we comply with applicable legal requirements for providing adequate protection for the transfer of personal data to recipients in countries outside of the UK, EU, DIFC, or ADGM, respectively. • We have put in place appropriate safeguards in respect to the transfer, for example the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the DIFC Standard Contractual Clauses, and the ADGM Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses; or
• One or more of the derogations for specific situations provided by law applies, for example, because the transfer of personal data is necessary for us to establish, exercise, or defend against legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law and your location, you may have the right, in certain circumstances, to request:

• confirmation of whether we process personal data relating to you and, if so, to request a copy of that personal data;
• that we rectify or update your personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated;
• that we erase your personal data in certain circumstances, such as where we collected personal data on the basis of your consent and you withdraw your consent;
• that we restrict the use of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as while we consider another request that you have submitted, for example a request that we update your personal data;
• withdrawal of your consent where you have given us consent to process your personal data;
• that we provide you with a copy of your personal data which you have provided to us in a portable, structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and/or that we transmit that data to a third party (where this is technically feasible; and.
• To object to certain of our data processing, such as for direct marketing purposes.
